Dear parents & friends of Camp Woodhaven,

Camp Woodhaven is a non-profit children’s camp where every dollar goes into providing children with a great summer experience. We are continuously improving Camp Woodhaven with new facilities and renovations. This past summer we built three new buildings for the children, a Sports Pavilion, A Nature barn for our Nature program, and a Drama Depot for our Drama specialist. Along with these buildings we built a Gaga Pit for dodgeball, changing cabanas near our slip-n-slide, and a covered deck on the north end of the Arts & Crafts building.

What’s next? We have hired an architect to design a 40’ x ‘60’ building that will be attached to our pool house that will provide brand-new bathrooms, changing stalls, and showers. This facility will be BIG and will provide the boy and girls with the best environment for changing into their bathing suits. It will be large rooms, so that groups of children will have plenty of space and lockers for their clothes.

For 2012 we would like to build a second Gaga pit, and another covered deck on the south side of the Arts & Crafts building. We have the plans already drawn. This deck will have steps on all three sides like bleachers where children can sit. In the future we would like to build two more 40’ x 60’ picnic pavilions that will be used to provide specialized programing for children.
