Lunch Program

Lunch is a special time at Camp Woodhaven where all activities stop and everyone relaxes for a mealtime together. All of our staff has lunch together with our campers so the children have an opportunity to meet and talk with all of our staff such as the lifeguards and program specialists. There are picnic areas under trees and in our pavilions spread out around the camp and each day groups will rotate to different picnic areas for lunch. Your child can pack a lunch from home or you can purchase lunch tickets for meals prepared at camp.

Here’s all the information you need to purchase lunch tickets at camp!

Lunch Ticket Order Form

Camp Woodhaven provides parents the opportunity to purchase lunches. Lunch tickets come in books of five tickets and are available for purchase online (click other charges), by mail, or at the office during camp hours. Individual tickets will not be sold. They will be offered in two denominations:

The menu is as follows:

Cheese Pizza (daily delivery from West Boylston House of Pizza)
Sandwiches: white bread with turkey, bologna or ham, and American cheese
Chips: Nacho Doritos, Cool Ranch Doritos, Plain Potato Chips or Sour Cream & Onion Potato Chips, Sun Chips, Applesauce or Fruit Cup
Cold Drinks: Bottled Water or Fruit2O or Capri Sun pouch or Gatorade (Campers decide these flavors daily when they pass in their tickets)

All you need to do is:

1. Fill in your child’s name on the bottom of the ticket
2. Fill in your child’s Group
3. Check the choice of kind of sandwich(s) and/or pizza,
   Check the choice of chips (Handwrite in Sunchips or fruit options)
   Check the choice of cold drink.

Tickets will be collected by the counselors upon arrival at morning assembly, and staff will make sure everyone has something provided for lunch. If a child has neither ticket nor lunch, we will call you to verify your wishes. (Lunch could be riding around in the back of your vehicle!) Lunches will be packed in a brown bag with the lunch ticket stapled to the bag and cold items refrigerated until serving time. Group staff will be provided with a selection of condiments for the sandwiches, and campers will put what they want onto their own sandwich(s).

Trading Post will not be open for the purchase of lunch, but will be open at specific hours during the day for the purchase of ice cream, treats and cold drinks. Please remember you still have the option of packing lunches for your camper so there can be plenty of variety in their diet.

* Note: Camp Woodhaven is not responsible for lost tickets. We will not be keeping track of ticket numbers. If you forget or lose your ticket, you will need to purchase a new ticket. Any lunch ticket order made prior to June 1st will be mailed during the first week of June.
