2009 Vacation Camp Application


Come to Vacation Camps at Camp Woodhaven

Beautiful Camp Woodhaven is open for “Vacation Camp” for 5 consecutive days from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Extended Day is available from 7 am to 8:30 am and from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm. Program for this Christian day camp is designed with age appropriate activities, both indoors and out. Campers bring their lunches and snacks. Camp will provide cocoa for snack and hot soup to compliment lunchtime. Program events depend on the weather.

Campers will be divided into groups and all five days will be filled with our Morning Meeting, several activity periods (indoor games, arts/crafts, drama, out-door games, throughout the day, approximately 1 hour in length, in or out, according to the weather, lunch (we could have a campfire), snacks and our Closing Gathering and dismissal.

Camp staff will be drawn from our summer staff and will include a health supervisor as well as some special guests. Operations and program correlates with our summer day camp policies. Campers needing an accompanying aid are welcome to enroll in any or all vacation camp weeks as long as they are accompanied by their aids.

Returning Campers:
If your child was registered for our 2008 Summer Day Camp, the registration fee is waived for all Vacation Camps. We will also verify the dates of your physicians’ forms we currently have on file for your camper. As long as the date’s on the physician forms are in effect to the end of the camper’s participation dates, these forms meet our requirements. Upon acceptance, parents will receive, and are required to submit a new Health History form with each registration to assure our records are up to date for participants. If registering for more than one week at Vacation Camp, this paperwork will be applied to all weeks of the registration with no need of reissue for subsequent weeks.

New Campers:
If your child is new to our program, we require a one-time $25 non-refundable registration fee in addition to the weekly fees according to the fee schedule. The acceptance packet will include a Health History for parents to fill out and a Physician’s form, which needs to include the required immunization records. Both forms are to be on file at camp at least 5 days before the start date of the camp weeks your child will be attending.

Reservations are accepted with full payment only. Single reservations will stand on their own and additional weeks will not enable discounted fees.
We accept cash, check, money order, Mastercard, Visa, or Discover cards.

All medical information must be completed and updated as necessary by the following registration deadlines for your camper to attend.
Incomplete paperwork by deadline dates will cause cancellation and enable acceptance for wait-listed campers.
