PURPOSE AND GOALS OF THE COUNSELORS-IN-TRAINING PROGRAM

15 YEAR OLDS – MAY REGISTER ANY OR ALL OF THE TEN WEEKS OF CAMP
$100 REGISTRATION FEE FOR FULL SUMMER

The Counselors-in-Training is a volunteer work program where participants gain camp counselor and leadership experience. CITs will be mentored by the counselors of their assigned group. A CIT coach will also give instruction, supervision, and feedback.

The ultimate purpose of the CIT program is to provide on-the-job training to ready participants for future employment in the camping and recreation or education fields. Volunteer hours will be documented for the purpose of scholarship and other academic honors requirements. A certificate of achievement will be given upon completion.

PURPOSE AND GOALS OF THE CHRISTIAN LEADERS-IN-TRAINING PROGRAM

13 TO 14 YEAR OLDS – TWO WEEKS ONLY (July 15-19 & July 22-26)
COST $225 PER WEEK

The Christian Leaders-in-Training is a camp experience where participants spend time learning and practicing what it means to be a leader from a Christian perspective. LITs will be mentored by a leader who will give instruction, supervision, and feedback.

Daily activities will include: • Bible Study • Leadership Training • Service Learning • Team-Building Activities & Games

The ultimate purpose of the Leaders-in-Training program is to prepare participants to use their God-given gifts to impact their community.
